Love lasts forever,
I always will care.
I'll always come find you,
if ever you're scared.
You might not believe me,
but after these years,
it's more than just friendship,
that tethers me here.
I'll miss you and me,
the 'us' that we made.
I will not forget that,
but it wont linger each day.
I know I'll move forward,
and I know you will, too,
but after this love,
what am I to do?
We now have no name,
we're more than just friends.
I hope that you see that,
when thinking again.
It's more than just friendship,
that binds you and me,
there's too much between us,
that can't be set free.
You might not remember,
but at that first time,
I always did love you,
yet knew you weren't mine.
You always were wishing,
for adventure and wonder.
I knew I was nothing,
compared to that splendor.
So now as we stop,
and go our own ways,
I'll always be here for you,
and call you each day.
